The commitments we make to our children, families and community — and what we ask in return.
Children may be enrolled from birth up to Grade R. All enrolments are subject to the completion of registration forms, proof of immunisation, and a copy of the child's birth certificate. Placement is confirmed once the registration fee is received.
Our doors are open 07:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday. Late collection after 16:00 may incur an additional fee. Please notify the office by 08:00 if your child will be absent.
Monthly fees are payable in advance by the 7th of each month. Fees cover care, learning materials and daily meals. A statement is available on request.
Children who are unwell, contagious, or have a temperature must remain at home. In the event of an emergency, we will contact the parent or guardian immediately and, if required, seek medical care.
We provide balanced meals daily. Please inform the office in writing of any dietary requirements or allergies.
Samora Machel Educare is committed to the safety of every child in our care. All staff are vetted, and our safeguarding policy is available on request.
We may take photographs of school activities for internal records or promotional purposes. Parents may opt out in writing at any time. Personal information collected during enrolment is used only for the operation of the school and is never shared with third parties without consent.
Parents wishing to withdraw a child must provide one calendar month's written notice. The school reserves the right to end enrolment in cases of unpaid fees or serious breaches of these terms.
